Hamburg confirm second spell for Jeffrey Bruma

Hamburg have confirmed that Jeffrey Bruma will remain at the club next season for a second successive loan spell.

The Chelsea defender played 22 times in the Bundesliga last term and will continue to represent the German club after they announced an agreement had been reached with the Blues.

Hamburg's sporting director Frank Arnesen said: "Jeffrey will stay with us next season.

"[He] has developed and shown his capacity to perform in several different positions."

Bruma scored twice for Hamburg last season.
