Former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has backed Chelsea striker Fernando Torres to rediscover his goalscoring form.
The 27-year-old has scored only three times for the Blues following his £50m move from Liverpool over a year ago.
Despite the goal drought, Benitez believes that the forward's substitute appearance in Wednesday's win over Napoli shows that he is getting back to his best.
"As a striker you know that you need confidence, so I think that he has lost that little bit of confidence, but, talking about the game [against Napoli] he went from the bench and he was working very hard," Benitez told Absolute Radio.
"He knew that his team needed legs, fresh legs, and he was working, he was pressing, he was doing what the manager told him.
"I think that that is the attitude, I think that he will come back, he will be again the Fernando Torres that we know, but he will need time."
Benitez is one of a number of names linked with the manager's job at Stamford Bridge.
