Live Coverage: Jose Mourinho's weekly Chelsea press conference

Jose Mourinho confirmed that Diego Costa will return to Chelsea's starting lineup for the team's match against Newcastle United this weekend.

The striker missed their last match after picking up his fifth booking of the season.

The league leaders have no new injury concerns for the trip to St James' Park.

2.11pmMourinho is keeping his answers short today. When asked who will start up front, he simply replies "Diego", while a question about Drogba taking up a coaching role is quickly dismissed with an "I have no idea. I don't know."

2.09pmAs we've already mentioned, Matic is suspended for tomorrow, but Mourinho is dwelling on his absence: "Last week we missed Diego so we didn't speak about Diego. Today we don't speak about Matic."

Maybe it's because in the last decade Chelsea have become a top team that everyone wants to beat."
