Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been forced off with an injury in the first half of the FA Cup final against Chelsea this afternoon.
The Reds' top-scorer went down off the ball around the half-hour mark at Wembley, moments after Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker had also received treatment.
However, while Alisson was able to continue, Salah limped off the field following a brief discussion with the Liverpool physio.
The Egypt international, who was replaced by Diogo Jota, appeared to be struggling with a knee injury and was unable to carry on as Liverpool suffered a significant blow ahead of a crucial couple of weeks.
In addition to missing most of the FA Cup final, Salah is now a doubt for Liverpool's final two Premier League games - against Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers next week.
Jurgen Klopp's side currently trail Manchester City by three points in the Premier League title race and know that a failure to win either of those games could see them officially out of the running.
Liverpool also have the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Paris coming up, with that match taking place in two weeks' time.
Salah has previously admitted that he is out for revenge in that final, having been injured early when the two sides met in the 2018 final.
Liverpool are also currently sweating over the fitness of Fabinho, who was ruled out of the FA Cup final through injury.
