Chelsea will be looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season to four matches when they square off against Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The Blues have accumulated seven points from their opening three games to return from the international break in second place in the top-flight table.

Possible return date: September 24 (vs. Lincoln City)

Benoit Badiashile finds himself in a similar situation to Lavia in that he is still working his way back to fitness ahead of a September return. His last appearance was in the last 16 of the Club World Cup.

Cole Palmer

Status: Major doubt

Type of injury: Groin

Possible return date: September 13 (vs. Brentford)

Cole Palmer has missed the last two matches with a groin issue and he was left out of international duty with England. As it stands, there is no indication that the playmaker will be available for this fixture.

Levi Colwill

Status: Out

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: Unknown

Levi Colwill underwent successful knee surgery at the beginning of August and is now expected to miss the majority of the campaign in recovery.

Liam Delap

Status: Out

Type of injury: Hamstring

Possible return date: Unknown

Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury during the early stages of the most recent game with Fulham and reports have indicated that he will not be in a position to return to training until November at the earliest.

Dario Essugo

Dario Essugo suffered a thigh injury while on international duty with Portugal Under-21s, Chelsea having since announced that the midfielder has undergone surgery.
