Chelsea have a wide array of players currently on loan at other clubs, but how did they perform for their respective sides over the weekend?

Conor Gallagher was the star of the show this weekend as far as Chelsea's loan players are concerned, the midfielder getting on the scoresheet during Crystal Palace's 2-0 victory at Manchester City.

The England Under-21s international also chipped in with an assist for the Eagles opener as Patrick Vieira's side pulled off the upset at the Etihad Stadium.

However, there was more disappointment for Billy Gilmour, who remained as an unused substitute for Norwich City against Leeds United, while Armando Broja was absent for Southampton due to injury.

In the Championship, Levi Colwill once again impressed for Huddersfield Town as the Terriers recorded a 1-0 win over Millwall at the John Smith's Stadium.

Baba Rahman and Danny Drinkwater featured as Reading lost 2-0 to leaders Bournemouth, but Dujon Sterling stayed on the substitutes' bench as Blackpool edged past Sheffield United.

Henry Lawrence lasted 65 minutes as AFC Wimbledon went down 1-0 at Cambridge United in League One, while Jamie Cumming kept a clean sheet during Gillingham's draw with Accrington Stanley.

Ethan Ampadu was suspended as Venezia held Genoa to a goalless draw in Serie A, but Matt Miazga was surprisingly named as a replacement for Alaves' draw at Barcelona.

Emerson Palmieri played the full 90 minutes as Lyon posted a 2-1 triumph over Lens in Ligue 1, a scoreline shared by Lokomotiv Moscow with Tino Anjorin playing 65 minutes against Nizhny Novgorod.

There was disappointment for Michy Batshuayi as the Belgian forward was forced off through injury after just 24 minutes of Besiktas' 1-0 defeat at Hatayspor.

Kenedy did not get on the pitch as Flamengo beat Atletico Mineiro by a 1-0 scoreline, and Thierno Ballo played the final 18 minutes as Rapid Vienna edged out LASK Linz by the odd goal in five.

Finally, young goalkeeper Karlo Ziger was unable to prevent Rudar Velenje from losing 2-1 to Ilirija.
