Real Betis vs. Chelsea team news: Enzo Maresca makes five changes, recalls Nicolas Jackson

Real Betis, Chelsea starting lineups confirmed! Maresca makes five changes to Blues XI

Real Betis and Chelsea have announced their starting lineups for Wednesday's Conference League final.

On the back of the Blues qualifying for the Champions League through their finishing position in the Premier League, the anticipation was that Enzo Maresca would ring the changes to his team.

Instead, the Italian has instead made just the five alterations, two of which were already known with goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen returning between the sticks and forward Nicolas Jackson starting after being suspended for the last two Premier League games.

The other three alterations come in defence with Malo Gusto, Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile all being handed opportunities.

Robert Sanchez, Reece James, Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill and Jadon Sancho are the players to drop out of the team.

Josh Acheampong, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tyrique George are among those who can count themselves unfortunate not to start given their contributions in the previous round.

Christopher Nkunku is back among the replacements after over a month on the sidelines through injury, while Marc Guiu is also on the bench and bidding for his first appearance since February 3.

Real Betis make four changes

Despite having two days more to prepare than Chelsea, Manuel Pellegrini has made four alterations to his Real Betis XI.

Youssouf Sabaly comes back into the team at right-back, while Johnny Cardoso - a potential future Tottenham Hotspur signing - features in central midfield.

Abde Ezzalzouli and Cedric Bakambu return in the final third where they will join Manchester United loanee Antony in the attack.

Real Betis XI: Adrian; Sabaly, Bartra, Natan, Rodriguez; Fornals, Isco, Cardoso; Antony, Bakambu, Ezzalzouli

Subs: Vieites, Gonzalez, Perraud, Altimira, Lo Celso, Ruibal, Mendy, J. Rodriguez, Ortiz, Flores, Garcia

Chelsea XI: Jorgensen; Gusto, Chalobah, Badiashile, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson

Subs: Sanchez, Bergstrom, Adarabioyo, Colwill, Acheampong, James, Amougou, Dewsbury-Hall, George, Sancho, Nkunku, Guiu
