Chelsea have since recorded their first win of the 2024-25 Premier League season, and their first domestic triumph under new manager Maresca, thrashing Wolverhampton Wanderers 6-2 after their opening-day defeat to Manchester City.

In a challenging first half, the Blues twice went ahead only to be pulled level by Wolves, but a much-improved second 45 minutes saw Chelsea score four goals and decisively overpower their opponents.
