England defender Ashley Cole says that his international career has been unfulfilling to date, but claims that winning Euro 2012 would top Chelsea's Champions League triumph.

Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has claimed that his international career will remain "unfulfilled" unless he wins a major tournament with England.

The 31-year-old has won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups, one League Cup and one Champions League winners' medal during his club career. However, he says that winning Euro 2012 would be the biggest achievement of all.

"My England career has been unfulfilled," explained Cole. "Reaching a semi-final wouldn't be a success either. You come to every tournament to win it.

"Winning Euro 2012 would top the lot. I've won the Champions League, I've won the league with both Chelsea and Arsenal.

"To look back and say I won everything in the league and cup but not to win for your country would be a little bit sad."

Cole has made more international tournament appearances for the Three Lions than any other player in history with 21.
