Frank Lampard praises 'complete' Chelsea

Frank Lampard has claimed that Chelsea performed "from start to finish" during Tuesday's win over Schalke 04 in the Champions League.

The Blues took a big step towards the next round of the competition as two goals from Fernando Torres helped them to a 3-0 victory at the Veltins-Arena.

Chelsea now sit at the top of Group E on goal difference with three games left to play.

"I thought it was very good from start to finish," Lampard told the club's official website. "An early away goal always helps your confidence in a game like that.

"Coming away in Europe is tough but we put on the performance we had to to win the game, and that was very satisfying at the end."

Chelsea welcome Manchester City to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday.
