Charlton Athletic manager Chris Powell has revealed that Nigel Reo-Coker is training with the club but was quick to deny any interest in signing the 28-year-old.
Powell has allowed the midfielder to train with the Addicks while he searches for a new club, but he has revealed that the former Aston Villa and West Ham United player will not be signing for the Championship outfit.
Powell said: "He has been without a club and as a favour to him, he has been in and trained with the development squad while we have been training and preparing for games.
"People are trying to put two and two together but he has just come in and been training.
"At the moment, our intention is not to sign him."
Reo-Coker has been without a club since his contract at Bolton Wanderers expired at the end of last season.
