Former Rangers playmaker Salim Kerkar is thought to have joined up with Charlton Athletic on their pre-season tour of Spain.
The 24-year-old is one of a number of players to have exited the Scottish club following their financial difficulties.
He is now hoping to impress manager Chris Powell and earn himself a deal with the Addicks, according to Sky Sports News.
Kerkar joined Rangers from French club Gueugnon in 2010.
