Charlton sack interim boss Fraeye

Charlton Athletic have announced that interim head coach Karel Fraeye has been sacked.

Fraeye, who was appointed after Guy Luzon's departure last year, leaves the club after last night's 5-0 defeat at Huddersfield Town, which made it 10 games without a win for the Addicks.

In a statement, Charlton said: "The club would like to place on record its thanks to Karel for his tireless work and the many positive contributions he made to the wider football setup at Charlton."

A report earlier today suggested that Charlton would appoint Serbian Nebojsa Vignjevic as their new head coach.

For the time being, coaches Wim de Corte and Jason Euell will take charge against Hull City on Saturday.
