Paul Hart leaves academy post at Charlton Athletic, replaced by Steve Avory

Charlton Athletic announce that Paul Hart has left his role as director of the club's academy.

Charlton Athletic today announced that Paul Hart has left his role as director of the club's academy.

The 61-year-old former Nottingham Forest, Barnsley and Queens Park Rangers boss has been with the club for three years but now leaves due to the Addicks' restructuring of their youth setup.

Previous academy head coach Steve Avory will now take up the newly-created role of academy manager.

A former England Under-16 coach, Avory has been an employee at The Valley since 2001.
