Ronny Deila tells John Guidetti: 'Ignore Marseille speculation'

Ronny Deila tells on-loan Celtic striker John Guidetti to focus on the Bhoys and ignore rumours over a prospective switch to Marseille.

Celtic boss Ronny Deila has advised striker John Guidetti to stay with the Bhoys amid speculation linking him with a move to Marseille.

The Manchester City loanee has reportedly courted interest from the Ligue 1 giants after netting seven times for the Scottish champions so far this season.

"That's new to me, but I think it will not be the last club we'll hear about", he told BBC Sport.

"He should stay here at Celtic. He's enjoying his stay and is going to get better."

Southampton, Hull City and Inter Milan are also said to have registered an interest in the 22-year-old, whose City contract expires in the summer.
