Celtic are interested in signing Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher, according to reports.
The Herald claims that Fletcher would be available for a fee of £2m, but his wage demands could prove to be a stumbling block.
The striker nearly joined Celtic from Hibernian in 2009, but the deal fell through at the final hurdle.
He joined Sunderland for a fee of £12m in 2012 and has scored 19 goals in 77 appearances.
