Celtic wrap up signing of Amido Balde on four-year deal

Celtic have beaten their rivals to the signing of striker Amido Balde from Vitoria Guimares.

The 22-year-old has been linked with the Scottish Premier League champions in recent weeks, but there were doubts of Balde's arrival due to reported interest from Crystal Palace.

Despite a possible move to the Premier League, Balde has opted for the Bhoys by signing a four-year contract, according to Sky Sports News.

Celtic are thought to have completed the signing with a £1.8m fee.
