Johan Mjallby praises 'patient' Celtic

Celtic assistant manager Johan Mjallby hails his side's patience during their win over struggling Hearts.

Celtic assistant manager Johan Mjallby has praised his side's patience during their 2-0 victory over Hearts in the Scottish Premiership.

The Swede believes that his team could have created more chances, but hailed the impact of goalscoring substitute James Forrest during his post-match interview.

"We could have played better and created more chances but we showed good patience," he told reporters. "In the second half when James Forrest came on he gave us a spark and I thought we really controlled the game.

"If you don't kill games off, then your opponent is always liable to get a chance, and they had one when Kris [Commons] cleared off the line."

Commons gave Celtic the lead in the second half before Forrest netted in the final minute to kill off the Jambos.
