Celtic boss Neil Lennon says that he was delighted with Emilio Izaguirre's return to action during the victory over Dunfermline.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has revealed his delight at the return of Emilio Izaguirre after a five-month absence from first-team action.

The Honduran left-back returned during the 3-0 victory over Dunfermline on Monday for his first appearance since injuring his ankle in August.

Lennon said: "It was great to see him back.

"He was bringing the ball down in his own box and trying to take on the centre-forward - giving me a heart attack again."

Victory at Dunfermline means that Lennon's side remain top of the table ahead of rivals Rangers and have stretched their winning run in the league to 10 games.
