Ronny Deila: 'We are striving for consistency'

Ronny Deila says that his Celtic side must find some consistency if they are to catch Scottish Premiership leaders Dundee United.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has called on his team to find some consistency as they aim to close down Scottish Premiership leaders Dundee United.

Deila, who saw his side claim victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League on Thursday night, welcomes a Hamilton side unbeaten in nine games to Celtic Park on Sunday, knowing that a win could take his side within two points of top spot.

"It's very important now that we get players who get a relationship together. But when you play so many matches, there are things happening all the time, it's hard," Deila told The Herald.

"We have a good squad but I think in one year you will not think about who is playing or not - then everybody hopefully knows the pattern of how we want to play and the player we use is not so important. But now it's important to get an 11 that know each other.

"We are on a good roll now, six games without loss. We will try to keep that as long as possible, hopefully during the whole season."

League leaders Dundee United were beaten 2-0 by Kilmarnock at Rugby Park last night.
