Cardiff City have second Jose Fonte bid rejected?

Southampton turn down a second bid from Cardiff City for defender Jose Fonte, a report claims.

Cardiff City have reportedly had a second bid turned down by Southampton for defender Jose Fonte.

The 30-year-old centre-back is said to be rated at around £5m, but the Bluebirds' alleged bid of £3.25 falls some way short of that fee.

Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will now return with an improved third offer for Fonte, according to Wales Online.

The former Crystal Palace player joined Southampton in 2010, turning out 25 times for the club last season.
