AFC Wimbledon sign Semi Ajayi

Cardiff City defender Semi Ajayi has joined AFC Wimbledon on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Bluebirds from Arsenal during the summer, is yet to feature in the Championship this term.

"We tracked Semi Ajayi when he was at Arsenal last season and the season before. We quite liked him, but he was only young then. We have strong competition everywhere else and we made a decision to go for it," manager Neal Ardley told the club's official website.

The Nigeria Under-21 international could make his debut during tonight's League Two clash against Northampton Town.
