Cardiff City's Ben Turner: 'We have confidence now'

Cardiff City defender Ben Turner feels that his side can get a positive result from their Premier League clash with Everton at the weekend after their first win in four games.

Cardiff City defender Ben Turner believes that his side will go into their Premier League clash with Everton on Saturday brimming with confidence.

The Bluebirds won for the first time in four games when they defeated Fulham last weekend, and are now only in the relegation zone on goal difference.

"A lot of people will think this is a game where we cannot get any points, but we absolutely need to go there and get something," Turner told Wales Online.

"We need a solid foundation to try and stay in the game and get something out of it because if we can go on a good run it could be massive for us.

"It is difficult going up there, they are a very good side in possession and they are very good at making opposition players run. We can go up to Everton with more confidence than we had this time last week."

Cardiff are 18th in the Premier League with 25 points after 29 games this season.
