New Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that he has always envisaged returning to the Premier League in a managerial capacity.
Solskjaer enjoyed 11 years at Manchester United during a successful spell in England, and the Norwegian believes that taking over at the Cardiff City Stadium is the right move for him in his career.
The 40-year-old told reporters: "I've always wanted to come back to the Premier League, and after meeting with the chairman, he convinced me to come, and after watching the passion of the fans and in and around the area, with a club that is going forward, I see this as a fantastic challenge.
"There was a bit of negotiating with the family about how we were going to do it, but I think that this is the right step for me to get a different challenge."
Solskjear leaves Scandinavian outfit Molde after three years managing in his homeland.
