Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'agrees to become Cardiff City manager'

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has allegedly agreed to become the new manager of Cardiff City.

The former Manchester United striker has concluded talks with the club's owner Vincent Tan and is about to be unveiled as Malky Mackay's successor, talkSPORT reports.

Mackay departed Cardiff last week following a high-profile bust-up with Tan, leaving the Welsh outfit without a manager.

Solskjaer, who currently manages Norwegian side Molde, has previously been linked with a number of English clubs, including West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa.

The 40-year-old was present at Cardiff's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on New Year's Day.
