Playoffs: The four Championship contenders

Cardiff City's 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace this afternoon saw the Bluebirds claim the final playoff spot in the Championship.

That win has seen Cardiff secure sixth berth in the table and as a result they will take on West Ham United for a place in the playoff final.

The other semi-final will see Birmingham City, who finished fourth, face fifth-placed Blackpool for the other spot at Wembley.

Semi-final fixtures:

First legs: Cardiff vs. West Ham - Thursday, May 3 Blackpool vs. Birmingham - Friday, May 4

Second legs West Ham vs. Cardiff - Monday, May 7 Birmingham vs. Blackpool - Wednesday, May 9

The final will be played on Saturday, May 19.
