Cardiff City have released a statement that says that manager Malky Mackay will have the final say on all future transfer dealings.
Mackay's position has been viewed as uncertain after his right-hand man and head of recruitment Iain Moody was suspended by the club and replaced by a 23-year-old believed to be a friend of owner Vincent Tan's son.
Despite reports of Mackay resigning, he has decided to stay at the club and now, after a board meeting on Monday, four new committees have been created at the club.
A statement on the club website said that the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee would "support the manager, Malky Mackay, on all player purchases and sales. All transfer dealings will be conducted subject to the Manager's final approval".
It was also announced that Tan had written off interest of around £5.8m.
Cardiff have accrued eight points from their opening seven games in the Premier League this year and lie 14th in the table.
