Gary Rowett to assess trialists

Burton Albion boss Gary Rowett has confirmed that he will assess a number of trialists at the club this week.

Rowell, whose side are currently third in League Two, is understood to be keen to boost his squad ahead of the remaining months of the season.

"It's a good time to get three of four people in and have a look. There are one or two non-contract players around that we could get in until the end of the season, but nothing has happened yet," he told Sky Sports News.

Any deal must be completed by Thursday's transfer deadline.
