Former Manchester United youth player David Gray has joined Burton Albion from Stevenage.

The 25-year-old, who departed Old Trafford for Preston North End in 2010, moved to Stevenage in 2012, but has struggled for first-team football this season.

As a result, the defender was allowed to leave on a free transfer, with Burton winning the race to secure his services until the end of the season.

Gray has previously spent loan periods with Royal Antwerp, Crewe Alexandra and Plymouth Argyle.
