League Two roundup

Just six teams failed to score in League Two on Tuesday in a night full of action.

Burton Albion hit the headlines with a 6-2 demolition of AFC Wimbledon.

The Brewers were 4-0 up by half-time and earned their first win of the season with a dominant display.

Oxford United earned an early place at the top of the table with a 2-0 win against Southend United. Striker Tom Craddock will take the plaudits after scoring a brace.

Gillingham and Accrington Stanley joined United with a 100% record after beating Wycombe Wanderers and Port Vale respectively.

Exeter City enjoyed a 2-1 win away at Aldershot Town thanks to a brace from 36-year-old striker Jamie Cureton.

Promotion favourites Torquay United and Cheltenham Town shared the points in an entertaining 2-2 draw.

There were also first wins of the season for Bradford City and Northampton Town.

Newly promoted York City twice came from behind to gain a credible 2-2 draw at Morecambe.

Draws were a prominent theme of the night's action as games involving Barnet and Bristol Rovers, Chesterfield and Rochdale and Dagenham and Redbridge against Plymouth Argyle all ended even.
