Burton Albion to feature 50-year-old goalkeeper on bench

Burton Albion are to give 50-year-old goalkeeper Kevin Poole a place on the bench for their League Two clash with Mansfield next week.

The veteran goalkeeper had originally retired at the age of 48, but has been lured back into the game to help provide cover for fellow Albion keeper Dean Lyness.

Poole will feature on the bench as Sunderland loanee Jordan Pickford has been recalled by his club.

Burton find themselves in seventh position in League Two, currently occupying the final playoff spot.
