Kevin Long signs new Burnley deal

Burnley defender Kevin Long has signed a new contract with the Premier League club.

The 24-year-old's previous deal at Turf Moor was due to expire at the end of the season.

However, he has now committed his future to the Clarets until the summer of 2017.

Long made his Premier League debut during Burnley's 3-3 draw with Newcastle United last week, but the centre-back lasted just 21 minutes before he was stretchered off with cruciate knee ligament damage.
