Danny Ings not interested in transfer speculation

Ings committed to Burnley cause

Danny Ings has insisted that he will be ignoring speculation surrounding his future to help Burnley stay in the Premier League this season.

The 22-year-old is believed to be attracting interest from a number of clubs ahead of the January transfer window, but he has no intention of leaving Sean Dyche without his biggest goal threat.

"I'm contracted until the end of the season and that's the way it's going to be. Now I can fight for the team as much as I can and do my best for them," Ings told reporters.

"I won't be looking at that, and I just take that sign as confidence and take it into my game and do as well as I can for Burnley.

"Especially for a young lad, it's quite easy to lose concentration for some people with all the speculation. But I'm not that sort of character. I've got a job here to do at Burnley and I'm contracted until the end of the season - and that's the way it's going to be."

Reports on the weekend claimed that Ings would be targeted by West Bromwich Albion if they were to lose Saido Berahino in the transfer window.
