Burnley swoop to sign AFC Wimbledon youngster Daniel Agyei

Burnley have announced the capture of 18-year-old striker Daniel Agyei from AFC Wimbledon.

The Clarets claim to have beaten a "host of clubs" to the frontman, who has signed a "long-term contract" at Turf Moor.

Agyei is yet to play a game in senior league football, but did score 35 times for Wimbledon's Under-18 and Under-21 outfits last term.

The transfer fee has not been disclosed by either club.
