Sam Vokes, Uwe Rosler triumph in monthly Championship awards

Burnley striker Sam Vokes and Uwe Rosler of Wigan Athletic have been announced as February's winners of the Championship Player and Manager of the Month.

Often in the shadow of strike partner Danny Ings this season, Welshman Vokes had perhaps his best month of the season with five goals in five games.

He scored important braces against promotion rivals Queens Park Rangers and Nottingham Forest, as well as the winner against Lancashire neighbours Bolton Wanderers.

Meanwhile, Rosler's Wigan are hitting top form and won four out of five games in the second month to close in on the playoff places.
