Alan Pardew heaps praise on Jason Puncheon following comeback win over Burnley

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew praises the performance of Jason Puncheon as his side come back to beat Burnley 3-2 at Turf Moor in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has heaped praise on Jason Puncheon as his side came back to defeat Burnley away from home in the Premier League.

Pardew's side found themselves two behind after 17 minutes at Turf Moor, but came back to claim all three points thanks to goals from Puncheon and Dwight Gayle.

"What a performance to come back. I don't care who are you are playing against," said Pardew, according to BBC Sport.

"It was an amazing game and I thought we deserved it. Jason Puncheon was the best player on the pitch today by a country mile.

"It's a great win for us that gives us great momentum. These players needed a bit of a lift and belief. I know these players and I know how they click so it's been easy for me to settle. The application can't be faulted in the three matches that I've had so far."

The win sees Palace sitting in 12th position in the Premier League table on 23 points from 22 games.
