Boss Sean Dyche has said that Burnley's victory over Everton last weekend got the club out of an "awkward run" in the Premier League.
Burnley went into the game at Turf Moor having failed to win any of their previous 11 fixtures in the top flight, but goals from Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood helped the Clarets to a 2-1 triumph.
The North-West outfit now sit three points clear in seventh place in the standings, and Dyche has backed his side to build on their success over the Toffees.
At a press conference, the 46-year-old told reporters: "We came off an awkward run, although I said there were some good performances. It was a worthy performance to win a game and players getting back to full fitness adds to that competition for places.
"All of a sudden you have one loss in five and everything looks different with one win, it's amazing how that happens. Now it's about building on that and moving forward."
Burnley are next in action when they face West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
