Burnley confirm Sean Dyche arrival

Championship side Burnley have announced that Sean Dyche has taken over as the club's new manager.

Reports this morning had claimed that the 41-year-old had agreed to take over from Eddie Howe, who returned to Bournemouth earlier this month.

The Clarets have now confirmed the arrival of Dyche, who has signed on until the summer of 2015.

Dyche had been out of work since he was replaced by Gianfranco Zola as Watford manager in the summer.

He will be assisted by former Nottingham Forest winger Ian Woan.
