Team News: On-loan keeper Ben Hamer handed Bristol City debut

Goalkeeper Ben Hamer, on loan from Leicester City, makes his Bristol City debut against Brentford after Frank Fielding suffers a shoulder injury.

On-loan goalkeeper Ben Hamer will make his Bristol City debut this afternoon after Frank Fielding suffered a shoulder problem during training.

Joe Bryan has shaken off a knee problem he picked up in last weekend's 2-0 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday and takes his place in Steve Cotterill's starting lineup.

Andre Gray comes into the Brentford team in place of Jota despite ongoing speculation linking the striker with a move to Hull City.

However, Nico Yennaris and Marcos Tebar both miss out through injury.

Bristol City: Hamer; Ayling, Flint, Williams, Fredericks; Smith, Pack, Freeman, Bryan; Wilbraham, Kodjia.
Subs: O'Leary, El-Abd, Little, Wagstaff, Robinson, Burns, Agard

Brentford: Button; McCormack, Dean, Tarkowski, Bidwell; Diagouraga, Judge, Kerschbaumer; Gray, Hofmann, Gogia.
Subs: Bonham, Barbet, O'Connell, Vibe, Udumaga, Senior, Clarke
