Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Christian Walton loaned to Bury

Bury have signed Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Christian Walton on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old kept two clean sheets in four appearances for the Seagulls last term.

Walton has been capped eight times for England at Under-20 level.

"He has superb agility and mobility and is extremely comfortable in possession of the ball," manager David Flitcroft told Bury's official website. "Christian shows a great desire to keep the ball out of the net and maintains a strong presence within his area."

Bury start their League One campaign with a trip to Doncaster Rovers on August 8.
