Alan Judge makes permanent switch to Brentford from Blackburn Rovers

Judge makes permanent Brentford switch

Newly-promoted Championship side Brentford have completed the permanent signing of former loanee Alan Judge from Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old returns to Griffin Park on a three-year contract after playing the majority of his football in West London on loan last season.

"I have no doubts that Alan will make a significant impact in the Championship and I am very much looking forward to watching him continue his development with the club in the months ahead," Bees manager Mark Warburton told the club website.

Judge only joined Blackburn a year ago from Notts County, but made just seven league starts for the Lancashire club before he was sent to Brentford in January.

He went on to make 22 league starts and score seven goals, one of which was the decisive penalty that saw the Bees gain automatic promotion from League One.
