Marinus Dijkhuizen: 'James Tarkowski will not leave Brentford'

Dijkhuizen: 'Tarkowski not for sale'

Brentford manager Marinus Dijkhuizen has ruled out selling central defender James Tarkowski.

West London rivals Fulham have been linked with a £5m move for the 22-year-old.

Dijkhuizen told GetWestLondon."We can't afford to sell him; there's no question of us letting him leave. We have four centre backs and we need four so we can't afford to sell one."

Brentford have already seen Andre Gray, Stuart Dallas, Jonathan Douglas and Moses Odubajo leave the club this summer.
