Team News: James Tarkowski fit to face Sheffield Wednesday

James Tarkowski has recovered from a calf problem to start for an injury-ravaged Brentford at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

However, Bees head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen is without Akaki Gogia, Maxime Colin, Sam Saunders and Philipp Hofmann.

Sergi Canos must wait to make his first league start for Brentford, despite playing a part in their second-half fightback against Preston North End last weekend.

Meanwhile, Lewis McGugan, who scored Wednesday's winner in the League Cup at Newcastle United in midweek, is forced to settle for a place on the bench after manager Carlos Carvalhal decided to shake up his starting lineup.

Atdhe Nuhiu starts up front for the Owls, but there is no place in the matchday squad for fellow striker Fernando Forestieri.
