Brentford vs. Aston Villa: How to watch, date, time, live stream, TV channel

How to watch Brentford vs. Aston Villa: Date, time, live stream and TV channel

Keith Andrews will take charge of his first home game as Brentford boss when his side plays host to Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Bees started the Premier League season with a disappointing 3-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest, while Unai Emery's side had to settle for a point in their goalless draw with Newcastle United.

Here, Sports Mole provides details of how to watch the Premier League contest.

What time does Brentford vs. Aston Villa kick off?

The Premier League fixture will take place at 3pm local time on Saturday afternoon.

Where is Brentford vs. Aston Villa being played?

The contest will be held at Brentford's Gtech Community Stadium, which can hold up to 17,250 fans.

Aston Villa enjoyed success on their most recent trip to Brentford in March when Ollie Watkins scored the decisive goal against his former club.

How to watch Brentford vs. Aston Villa in the UK

TV channels

Unfortunately for Brentford and Aston Villa supporters, the game will not be available for live broadcast due to the UK's 3pm blackout rule.

Highlights

Sky Sports will show highlights on their app, as well as on their social media and YouTube channels.

UK viewers can also catch the highlights of the game on Match of the Day, which will start at 10:20pm on BBC One. Alternatively, you can catch the Match of the Day highlight package two hours earlier than the broadcast time on the BBC iPlayer.

Who will win Brentford vs. Aston Villa?

Aston Villa were unable to trouble the scorers in last Saturday's draw with Newcastle, but they will surely fancy their chances of troubling a Brentford side that will still be reeling from their opening day defeat against Forest.

Andrews was made aware of the size of his challenge as he saw his side ship three goals in a disastrous first period at the City Ground.

The Bees looked a little lost after losing Bryan Mbeumo, Christian Norgaard, Mark Flekken and head coach Thomas Frank during the summer, while they were also without the services of Yoane Wissa, who is unlikely to feature this weekend as he continues to push for a move to Newcastle United.

With Brentford going through a difficult period, Aston Villa will believe that they have the quality required on their side to claim their first win of the new season.
