Brazil boss Tite: 'Peru have grown as a team'

Head coach Tite is expecting another "great game" when Brazil take on Peru for the first time since the Copa America final on Wednesday.

The two countries met twice in this summer's tournament with Brazil winning on both occasions, including a 3-1 victory to claim their ninth Copa America title.

Tite told a press conference he was expecting a different type of game from the previous meetings.

He said: "Peru has grown a lot in the qualifiers. It has grown as a team. Consolidated.

"(Ricardo) Gareca has been doing great work. It will be a great game again.

"They may lose some players, (Paolo) Guerrero, but there are other players with quality. The basic structure of the team remains."

When asked whether Peru will be out for revenge, Tite said: "If I were on the other side, I would have that feeling of revenge, but with loyalty."

Tite is expected to make changes from the team which drew 2-2 with Colombia on Friday, with Neymar scoring his first goal of the season.

Peru boss Ricardo Gareca will be without striker Paolo Guerrero for the clash in Los Angeles.
