Sunday's Primeira Liga predictions including Braga vs. Maritimo

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Primeira Liga fixtures, including Braga vs. Maritimo.

Casa Pia vs. Boavista (Sunday, 3.30pm)

Boavista will be looking to make it three wins from their opening three games in the new Primeira Liga campaign when they visit the National Sports Center of Jamor to face Casa Pia on Sunday.

The newly-promoted side, on the other hand, head into the weekend as one of six sides who are yet to taste victory this season and will be aiming to end this poor run.

We say: Casa Pia 1-2 Boavista

While Casa Pia will be desperate to get their campaign up and running, they face a Boavista side who have flown out of the blocks this season. Os Axadrezados are currently firing on all cylinders at both ends of the pitch and we anticipate they will come away with all three points this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Braga vs. Maritimo (Sunday, 6.00pm)

Seeking to pick up their first Primeira Liga victory in front of their home fans this season, Braga welcome Maritimo to the Estadio Braga Municipal on Sunday.

O Maior das Ilhas, on the other hand, will be desperate to get their campaign up and running as they head into the weekend on a run of two defeats from their first two games.

We say: Braga 2-0 Maritimo

Buoyed by an emphatic victory over Famalicao, Braga will head into Sunday with renewed confidence as they look to put together an early run of form. Maritimo have stumbled into the new campaign and we expect the home side to extend their dominance in this fixture by coming away with all three points once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Portimonense vs. Guimaraes (Sunday, 8.30pm)

Portimonense will be looking to make it two wins from two in the Primeira Liga for the first time this year when they host Vitoria de Guimaraes at the Estadio Municipal de Portimao on Sunday.

Os Vimaranenses, on the other hand, head into the weekend on a run of three consecutive victories across all competitions and will look to march on in the same vein.

We say: Portimonense 1-2 Vitoria de Guimaraes

While Portimonense will look to build on Monday's victory, they face a Vitoria de Guimaraes side who are unbeaten in their last three encounters. Os Vimaranenses, who are one of just four sides to win their opening two games, head into the weekend with sky-high confidence and we predict they will come out on top once again, albeit by a narrow margin.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
