Parkinson calls on Bradford fans

Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson has urged his club's supporters to get behind the team when they face Arsenal on Tuesday night.

The League Two outfit face the Gunners in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup at Valley Parade having beaten Premier League side Wigan Athletic in the previous round.

Parkinson, a former scout for the North Londoners, believes that the fans need to create an inspiring atmosphere for the tie.

"We have to use the passion of our crowd on the night," said Parkinson. "It'll be a great occasion to have a full house and we have to make sure we have a performance full of commitment and desire.

"We'll make sure that everyone knows their jobs and responsibilities. The personnel might be different to normal but we know what system they'll be playing.

"We've got the utmost respect for them as a club and we know it'll be a difficult game, but it's one we have to enjoy."

Arsenal beat Reading 7-5 in the fourth round to set up the fixture.
