Benik Afobe will reportedly be allowed to leave Bournemouth in January if his £12m valuation is met, with West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers interested.

Bournemouth are reportedly prepared to offload striker Benik Afobe when the transfer window reopens, sparking a scramble for his signature.

Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion are said to lead the queue of interested parties, having made inquiries regarding the 24-year-old's availability during the summer.

Wolverhampton Wanderers also fell short with an approach on deadline day but, according to The Sun, Bournemouth are now willing to cash in midway through the season.

Afobe has struggled to break into Eddie Howe's side since returning from a lengthy layoff, starting just two games in the Premier League this term.

The same report suggests that the Cherries are holding out for around £12m, with a couple of other Championship clubs interested, but Afobe favours a move to a top-flight side.
