Bournemouth confirm Max Gradel arrival from Saint-Etienne

Bournemouth announce the arrival of Max Gradel from Saint-Etienne on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Bournemouth have announced the signing of Max Gradel from Saint-Etienne on a four-year deal.

The 27-year-old winger joins the Cherries for an undisclosed fee after scoring 17 goals in 31 Ligue 1 appearances last term.

He returns to England after joining Les Verts from Leeds United four years ago. In his last full season in England, he scored 18 goals for Leeds in the Championship.

An Ivory Coast international, Gradel is newly-promoted Bournemouth's seventh summer signing as they prepare for their first ever season in the Premier League.

Gradel will be in familiar surroundings on the South Coast, having spent two separate loan spells with the Cherries in 2007-08.
