Matt Ritchie strike 'one to remember'

Bournemouth midfielder Matt Ritchie expresses his delight in scoring his first Premier League goal for the club.

Bournemouth winger Matt Ritchie has admitted that his long-range goal would be 'one to remember' in his side's 2-0 win against Sunderland.

The goal came inside the first 10 minutes, with Ritchie controlling the ball on his chest before volleying it first time into the top corner.

Ritchie told Sky Sports News: "I will not be forgetting that one in a hurry, delighted with it and obviously it gave us a bit of a cushion as well in the game.

"We needed a reaction from last week and we got exactly that, it was a brilliant start to the game."

The victory saw the Cherries rise to 11th while Sunderland fell to the bottom of the Premier League.
